20 Tips for Fluid Management  
Normal kidneys maintain fluid balance in your body, while in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease getting rid of excess water becomes a major health priority. Follow these 20 practical Tips to regulate the fluid amount in your body min consultation with your physician.

1.

Maintain a daily fluid intake and weight diary as it helps your doctor to understand your fluid requirements.

2.

Remember to include the amount of beverages such as tea, coffee, coals, soups etc. and NOT ONLY WATER in your daily fluid intake.

Store the daily required amount of water in a bottle/s or a container to keep a check on the amount consumed.

4.

For repeated thirst, use water from a spray bottle instead of taking keep a check on the amount consumed.

Alternatively, you may simply rinse your mouth with water

Sucking on ice cubes is also a good idea to overcome mouth dryness and excessive thirst.
